The Wine Press, a highly anticipated new upmarket wine bar from Aitken Wines, will open on Friday, July 31.
The new venture will become the city's first dedicated wine bar, offering over 60 different types of wines and champagne.
A number of food platters, including 'wee pie' dishes, cheese and charcuterie boards and nibbles will be served.
Replacing former pub 'Legends', the bar was originally scheduled to open in June.
An extensive refurbishment was undertaken and those behind the bar say it is now unrecognisable and looks "fantastic."
Patrick Rhode, the owner of Aitken Wines, which has been a part of Dundee since 1874, confirmed the opening date to STV.
"We'll be opening this Friday and having a soft launch on Thursday," he said.
"We have a complete bar with a coffee machine and all the equipment has been installed so it's taking shape - we're getting there."
Patrick also revealed the number of wines that The Wine Press would be offering.
"There are 35 wines behind the bar," he added.
"There will be 15 champagne and sparkling wines on offer and 16 high end wines available through the enomatic machine - which is chargecard operated."
We spoke to Patrick at greater length earlier this year. Catch up below.
The Wine Press is the only dedicated wine bar in Dundee. It was originally scheduled to open in June but Patrick said the renovations had taken longer than expected.
Opening at 10am on Friday, July 31, the bar will be serving seven days a week although, initially, not late at night on Monday or Sunday.
