Around 8000 freshers are expected to descend on the Overgate tonight for the shopping centre's annual student night.
The after-hours event promises a full programme of entertainment, a shot bar, the annual Face of Freedom 2016 model competition, makeovers and free photo booth - not to mention up to 50% discount on over 40 retailers.
From candyfloss and slush machines to giveaways from Greggs, there's a whole lot more on offer too, and the unique event has long been a Dundee student favourite.
Even with students spending £200,000 last time out, this year's event is said to be 'bigger and better' than any before.
Tonight's entertainment programme is being hosted by Greg Summers, with the South Tay Superstore and The Underground providing the soundtrack.
Plus, the Overgate is giving away up to £500 worth of outfits in the form of gift cards and as well as all the retails bargains, students have the chance to win offers at Dundee's laser tag arena Battlefield LIVE, Cineworld cinemas and travel company Explore Dundee.
"The countdown is well and truly on to what will be the busiest night of the year for Overgate," said Centre Manager Malcolm Angus.
"The final preparations are being made by the Overgate team and our retailers and we can’t wait to open our doors. I would urge students to arrive early and prepare for a night like no other.”
Student Night runs between 6.30pm and 9pm at the Overgate Shopping Centre. It is open to anybody with a valid student card.
